An effective vibration support must provide adequate stiffness to restrain vibratory movement while also resisting vibratory loosening of the support bolts. Wood's anti-vibration clamps have been engineered to accomplish both of these crucial requirements.

Based on decades of experience, Wood's vibration experts (formerly BETA Machinery Analysis) have developed a range of vibration clamps for piping systems in vibratory service. The following clamps are suitable for installations subjected to demanding pulsation shaking forces which are typically encountered in the following applications:

CL-1: Piping Vibration
This is our most popular hold-down clamp for piping in vibratory services.

This design lessens vibratory loosening by added bolt stretch; a common industry-wide problem.

CL-1-T: ThermaGlide™ Axial Slip**

Designed with vibration control in mind while allowing for thermal growth; this PTFE-lined clamp provides vibration stiffness and thermal flexibility, allowing the pipe to grow along the axis of the pipe.
